Mallorca northeast
The north - east of Mallorca offers a high amount of variety depending on which town you visit. The center of the North - East is the beautiful small town of Arta with its old town, San Salvador, the arranged weekly market on Tuesdays and many other interesting things that are always worth a visit. In Arta, you can enjoy the daily, Spanish life with the locals and are within 10 minutes in the surrounding villages and in an hour in Palma de Mallorca.
A little further to the north there is are very peaceful places Colonia de Sant Pere and Betlem. Here you have the mountains with almost endless hiking, mountain biking and walking trails and on the other side of the sea and one of the longest sandy beaches all over the island. Up in the north is the port town of Cala Ratjada with its beautiful promenade and many restaurants just a few meters from the sea. Cala Ratjada is also one of the few places in the North East where there are discos.
A little further east lies the beautiful city Capdepera with the famous medieval market in May and the great castle. If you drive from here to the south it leads you to the Costa de los Pinos, with its beautiful beaches and exclusive properties. Not far from here is the Golf Course Pula Golf in Son Servera always inviting you to a relaxing game with the possibility to eat in the restaurants.
